Will The Apple Maps Experience Destroy The Apple Brand?

Much of this article by Karen Bodine is on what Steve Jobs would have done with Maps. While I agree with her that Jobs would have cracked the whip and made it at least functional, I do not believe the headline is accurate. 

The Apple Maps poor customer experience story will not destroy the brand. That happens over time. Just look at Kodak for an example. Today Kodak exited the inkjet printer business after just five years on the market.
